Welcome! Here You Can Find Great Information on Frisco, Plano, McKinney and North Dallas, Texas Real Estate

Click on words in Blue to link to more information!

We can help you to buy or sell real estate anywhere in this great state of Texas but our primary areas of focus are  Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Allen, Prosper, Carrollton, Addison, The Colony, Little Elm, Lewisville, Southlake, Grapevine, Flower Mound, Coppell, and other surrounding areas.

We've collected a great deal of local information below, and you can find loads more information under the "local information" tab on the menu above.

The whole area is well connected by freeways and toll ways in addition to the public transportation supplied by D.A.R.T (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) and rail transportation is supplied by the ever expanding Dart Light Rail system in Dallas. Air travel is supplied by two area airports, DFW international and Dallas Love Field.

City of Frisco

Located just North of Dallas off the Dallas North Tollway and HWY 121, Frisco was formed back in 1902.  With a population of 108,594, it is one of the fastest growing communities.  Ranked #7 in the Top 10 Best Places to Move in the U.S. by Forbes magazine.  Shop at the Stonebriar Centre the largest mall in the region, then visit the Heritage Center and learn all about life on the Chisholm Trail.  Watch or play soccer at the new Pizza Hut Park soccer and event complex, catch a Rough Riders minor league baseball game at the Dr Pepper Ball Park or even a Texas Tornados ice hockey game at the Dr Pepper Star Center.  Bring your family to the Pizza Hut Park for great concerts and events. This is the place to be to find a new home as many homebuilders are building here.  Check our Frisco schools.

City of Plano

The community of Plano originated in the early 1840's in the Republic of Texas. Most of the early pioneers migrated from Kentucky and Tennessee as small groups of settlers found their way to Collin County's black land prairie.  Population in 1900 was 1304 and currently it is approx. 265,000.   Today Plano is the headquarters of several large corporations including Frito-Lay, J.C. Penney, EDS, Ameri-Plan, and soon to be Pizza Hut.  Many are located in the Legacy Business Park.  Plano is well noted for their schools.  Shop and dine in the revitalized downtown shopping district, The Shops at Willow Bend and Collin Creek Mall. Here you can also visit South Fork Ranch.

City of McKinney

You will travel 30 miles North on Central Expressway from Dallas to find McKinney, one of the faster growing communities in the nation.  Ranked #9 in the top 10 Best Places to Move in the U.S. by Forbes.com, McKinney has the feel of a small Texas town but all of the amenities that one would expect in a big town. Shopping is a wonderful experience in the McKinney downtown square where you can hunt for antiques then stop in to Lone Star Wine Cellers for a delightful glass or two of local wine. On the weekend before the third Monday of the month, pay a visit to Third Mondays Trades Days to shop flea market style. The elements that have made McKinney unique in the past are the beautiful tree-lined streets with historic homes, gently rolling hills and other natural wonders, a safe environment, outstanding educational opportunities and health-care options, a robust business climate and an appreciation for the arts, an abundance of shops and restaurants, a storybook downtown and a strong sense of community. Check out the schools.

City of Allen

Located off Central Expressway going North from Dallas, you will find the city of Allen.   European and American immigrants began arriving in 1844 but the Houston and Texas Central Railroad (H&TC), constructed through Allen in 1872, laid out the original township of Allen.  Today there are approximately 84,333 residents living there.  Enjoy shopping at the Premium Outlets Mall.  With more than 700 acres of parks, 40 miles of hiking and nature trails and five recreation facilities, Allen is your ultimate destination for family fun!  Check out the schools.

The Colony - City By the Lake

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 15.7 square miles, of which, 13.7 square miles of it is land and 2.1 square miles of it (13.15%) is water. The city is bordered on the west by Lake LewisvilleLewisville on the north and east by Frisco and on the south by Carrollton and Plano. Approximately 23 miles of shoreline on Lake Lewisville are contained within the city's boundaries (the basis for one of the city's nicknames, "City by the Lake"), including two peninsulas.  Enjoy boating,  fishing and camping at Pier 121 and Stewart Creek Park, The Colony is home to the Five Star Athletic Complex, which was completed in 2003. The Colony was named the Sports Illustrated 50th Anniversary Sports Town of The United States in that same year.  If you want a small town atmosphere, this is it.  Check out the schools.

Lots of Lakes!

North Texas has a number of lakes for boating, fishing, and camping.  Some of the most popular ones are Lake Lewisville, Lake Lavon, Lake Ray Roberts, White Rock Lake, Lake Grapevine and Lake Texoma.  How about a dinner cruise or a party boat on the lake?

Real Estate Tips
Working With An Agent >Target Marketing

As soon as the listing agreement is signed, your real estate agent will begin the search for a buyer for your home. This means directing agents marketing efforts to target groups of individuals who are likely to be attracted to the amenities offered by your home and neighborhood.

If your property is near a new office park, your real estate agent will look there for prospects who want to live near their work place. If it is an historic property, the local preservation society may have a publication in which to advertise. Your agent may call or write to the neighbors who may know someone who would be attracted to your home. When your home is being marketed professionally, your agent will do a lot more than just feed the listing into the MLS and place an occasional ad.
